About Van Horn Painting

Our Story

Brendon was raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where he began working in the trades with his father’s painting company. In middle school, his family moved to Chester County. After high school, Brendon gained valuable experience working for various painting companies, including a global industrial painting firm. Despite learning a lot, he always felt something was missing. Driven by a desire to be challenged, help others, and exceed expectations, Brendon decided to start Van Horn Painting, despite having no business background but a strong client base from his side work.

After several attempts, Van Horn Painting became a success. Today, Brendon is a married father of four, with children ranging from 18 to 5 years old, and a dog adopted from the ASPCA. His oldest son is a United States Marine, his daughter is in middle school, and his younger sons attend a private Christian school. In his free time, Brendon enjoys riding dirt bikes and spending quality time with his family.

For the past 15 years, Van Horn Painting has been a family-owned business dedicated to developing trusted industry experts by providing career opportunities in the trades. Our organization is committed to tackling the industry’s most challenging projects and bringing value to our customers and their properties. We look forward to working with you in the future.

"The team from Van Horn was punctual, professional, on-task and very neat when painting our exterior project. Dan provided an accurate estimate and was on-hand to instruct his team at the beginning of the project; and later provided a thorough inspection of all work completed. We will definitely use Van Horn's services again!"

The Only Painter on the Mainline With 3-year Warranties and Free Touch-ups!

Van Horn Painting stands behind our work with a comprehensive labor and material warranty, including Three Years of FREE Interior Touch-Ups. This unique offering ensures your investment is protected, giving you peace of mind.

  • What type of warranty does Van Horn Painting offer?

Van Horn Painting offers a comprehensive three-year warranty that covers both labor, materials and touch-ups. This warranty ensures that if any paint failure occurs within this period, we will correct the issue at no cost to you. Additionally, we provide free interior touch-ups to maintain the beauty of your home.

  • What are the benefits of the free interior touch-ups?

Van Horn Painting offers three years of free interior touch-ups, allowing you to maintain the pristine condition of your home. Each year, you can receive up to one hour of touch-up services, which typically covers minor repairs such as scratches from moving furniture or accidental damage.

  • How do I schedule my free interior touch-ups?

Scheduling your free interior touch-ups is simple. Just contact us, and we’ll find a time that suits your needs. Please note that during peak seasons, scheduling may take a bit longer, but we prioritize your project and ensure timely service.

  • What is included in the labor and material warranty?

Our  warranty covers all labor and materials used in your painting project. If any issues such as paint failure occur, Van Horn Painting will address and correct the problem free of charge. However, the warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear and tear, temperature changes, settlement, moisture, accidents, or abuse.

  • Are there any exclusions to the warranty coverage?

Yes, certain exclusions apply. Our warranty does not cover painted or stained walking surfaces such as decks, floors, and steps. It also excludes issues caused by dirt or mildew accumulation, rotted wood, structural defects, moisture, rust, or failure of previous paint coatings. Pre-existing conditions like nail pops or cracks are not covered either.

  • What happens if I run out of paint for touch-ups?

If you run out of the leftover paint provided after your project, there's no need to worry. Van Horn Painting can easily order more paint for you at your expense. We recommend keeping the original paint for the best color match during any future touch-ups.
